Dr. Mike Crecelius graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1977. He started practicing in St. Charles at St. Charles Animal Hospital and has remained at that clinic for 45 years. He founded Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital with Dr. John Prange in 1983. Dr. Mike has donated countless hours and services over the years to many rescue and shelter groups, including the Wildlife Rescue Center of Missouri.
Dr. Mike has lived in St. Charles since 1977. He has two children, Katy, who he proudly welcomed as a Veterinarian to his practice 8 years ago, and Cory who is a Physical Therapist in Columbia, MO. He also proudly became a grandpa this year. Dr. Mike’s pets include two rescue dogs- Bob and Tre, and three cats. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Judith, who works for the Endangered Wolf Center of Missouri and his 2 grandchildren.
In his spare time, Dr. Mike enjoys a number of outdoor activities. His hobbies include canoeing, back-packing, gravel bar camping, landscaping his yard, and listening to a variety of music.
